TERM Art Classes have been commissioned by Vans x MoMA and Wigan & Leigh Archives amongst other organisations, and have featured in STAT Magazine.

You can join the TERM community of professional and budding artists at these relaxed and welcoming classes, online from the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the world! TERM tutors will guide you with friendly advice and their background knowledge of degree and MA level education in Critical theory, History, Performance Art, Scenography, Fine Art and Art History. Guest tutors have additional qualifications including studies at Kansas City Art Institute and The Royal Drawing School.

We offer multiple classes every week, including:

Themed Life Drawing:

Themed Life Drawing hosts a space to study numerous poses with an experienced nude life model. Tutors Klaire and Anna will encourage you through a series of drawing and painting techniques during timed poses. Each week hosts a different fun theme with props, costume and makeup to inspire your art work. You can draw, paint and create with whatever materials you have at home. Previous themes include: Fortune Teller, Under the Sea, Futurism, Goddesses and many more!

Practical Art History:

Practical Art History features an illustrated lecture about the history of a prevalent artist, combined with fun practical art activities inspired by their art for you to take part in. We cover a different classic or contemporary artist each week. By the end of each class, you will have new found knowledge on the work and life of a great artist. You will also be equipped with new techniques to improve your own art and to embed your understanding of the artist.

Dates and times:

Until the end of April 2022: Themed Life Drawing on Wednesdays and Practical Art History on Thursdays 7pm - 8:30pm (London UK Time) streamed LIVE via Zoom.
