We’re excited to share the full programme for our Short Films Night Curated by Northern Heart Films!


Short Films Night is a programme of short films curated by Natasha Hawthornthwaite of Wigan-based organisation Northern Heart Films. This special selection showcases locally produced shorts exploring the festival’s theme of 'Everyday Creativity’. Featuring stories that not only highlight creative subjects but also reflect imaginative and original approaches to filmmaking itself.

In Motion sheds light on the emotional experience of autism, normalising and celebrating different forms of stimming (self-stimulatory behaviour). Stimming is a mode of emotional regulation and expression within the autistic community, which many feel the need to hide or minimise in public.

Tickets are £3 or free for those on a low income. Booking is essential via our Eventbrite as we have a limited number of places for the screening!
